CAS - A Place of Discovering Talents
In the academic year of 2010/2011, the Ministry of National Education awarded the Center for Advanced Studies A Place of Discovering Talents. The title is to confirm the Center's commitment in promoting and supporting gifted pupils.
Professor Stanisław Janeczko awarded the Medal of the Warsaw University of Technology
On 1 October 2009, Professor Włodzimierz Kurnik, the Rector of WUT, handed Professor Stanisław Janeczko the Medal of the Warsaw University of Technology.
Third prize for Warsaw University of Technology in the PRODOK 2008 competition
In 2008 Warsaw University of Technology was chosen by the National Representation of PhD Candidates in Poland as one of the most PhD student-friendly universities in Poland. Among many reasons which justified the verdict, one enumerated establishing the Center for Advanced Studies with its wide range of activities addressed to PhD students such as Advanced Studies Offer, WUT Colloquium Lectures, scholarship programmes and alike.
