On 1th of November 2018 the Center for Advanced Studies hosted a visiting professor, Takuo Fukuda.

From 26th to 28th November 2018 the symposium of the Center for Advanced Studies "Scientific Intelligence - Illusion or Reality" took place in the Ossoliński Palace in Sterdyń.

Center for Advanced Studies invites for the seminar “Rigidity of Legendrian singularities”,  which will be held by professor prof. Jun-Muk Hwang (Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science,  Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), on 16th of October 2018 starting at 4.15 p.m., Koszykowa 75 street, room 431.

On 1st Otober 2018 the Center for Advanced Studies hosted a visiting profesor Shyuichi Izumiya of Hokkaido University in Sapporo, where he currently holds the position of professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science.
