The Center for Advanced Studies at Warsaw University of Technology invites you to the university-wide scientific seminar Horizons of Scientific Disciplines .  

The seminar aims to present the achievements of teams representing specific scientific disciplines at Warsaw University of Technology. The planned meeting, on mechanical engineering entitled " Ceramic Materials – From Biocomposites to Ballistic Shields ," will feature lectures by Dr. Martyna STRĄG  and Dr. Marcin CEGŁA  from the Military Institute of Armament Technology, moderated by Prof. Mariusz Magier (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology).

The WUT Center for Advanced Studies Program Symposium took place on October 9-11, 2026, at the WUT Recreation Center in Wilga. The meeting featured numerous open discussions and thematic presentations on topics such as the application of artificial intelligence and quantum computing in solving scientific and technical problems, the impact of artificial intelligence on the functioning of scientific communities, and disruptions to natural human cognitive processes. Winners of the WUT Teaching Grants program also participated in the symposium, presenting their projects.

The Center for Advanced Studies, together with the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, Warsaw University of Technology, invites you to the next meeting in the seminar series "Mathematical and Computer Science Frontiers of Algorithms." This time, the speakers will be Jacek MAŃDZIUK from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, Warsaw University of Technology, and Zofia MATUSIEWICZ from the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.

The planned meeting, focusing on management and quality sciences, entitled " Modeling Production Processes with Digital Tools ," will feature a lecture by Justyna Smagowicz,  PhD, Eng., and  Cezary Szwed , PhD, Eng. (Faculty of Management, Warsaw University of Technology). The co-presenters will be Damian Krenczyk, PhD, DSc, Eng. (Silesian University of Technology) and President Dawid Dąbal (Intermarium sp. z o. o.), and the moderator will be Anna Kosieradzka, PhD, DSc, Eng. (Faculty of Management, Warsaw University of Technology).

The ID Studies Workshop – Individual Path took place at the Warsaw University of Technology's Wilga Center on May 15-17, 2026. Participants included first- and second-cycle students of ID Studies at Warsaw University of Technology and selected tutors.
