Opening of the VIII MOBILITY WUT competition - competition for WUT employees

The call for applications for the VIII Mobility WUT competition is open up to and including May 31, 2023, and covers mobility that will begin no earlier than June 16, 2023 and no later than October 31, 2023. Applications should be submitted via an electronic form - link at the bottom of the page.

The objectives of the Program include improving the competence of Warsaw University of Technology employees and stimulating the exchange of experience. Mobility WUT, with the funds allocated to Warsaw University of Technology for these purposes under various projects, provides an opportunity to obtain funding for scientific mobility.

The Mobility WUT VIII competition is aimed at employees of the Warsaw University of Technology and is implemented within the framework of the IDUB project under the terms of the Mobility WUT regulations.

Funding will be provided for activities that serve the development of employees. The committee expects applicants to justify how the mobility will affect the applicant's academic career development. The explanation should refer, in particular, to the prospects offered by the mobility at the chosen academic center in relation to the current stage of the beneficiary's career. The effects of the planned activity should be linked to the duration of the activity.

The competition procedure is conducted by the Center for Advanced Studies. Applications are evaluated by the Mobility WUT Competition Committee appointed by the Rector's Decision 217/2021 dated September 1, 2021. The outcome of the competition proceedings will be a ranking list created on the basis of the evaluations of the applications received in the competition. Funding will be provided to the highest rated applications, taking into account the available funds in the Program for each type of activity. Once the results of the competition are announced, Mobility WUT program participants are served at further stages by the WUT unit responsible for the funding program indicated in the competition.

In the Mobility WUT VIII competition, employees can apply for funding for the following forms of mobility:

    stay in the host institution in order to obtain materials for a scientific research/article; performing measurements using unique equipment, including the use of large research infrastructure not available in Poland; participation in the preparation of an international grant application  (from 5 days to 6 months)

    research internships and study visits to prestigious foreign centers (from 5 days to 6 months)

    trips related to learning how to operate unique research apparatus (from 5 days to 6 months)
