ID Studies Workshop – Individual Path, May 15-17, 2026
The ID Studies Workshop – Individual Path took place at the Warsaw University of Technology's Wilga Center on May 15-17, 2026. Participants included first- and second-cycle students of ID Studies at Warsaw University of Technology and selected tutors.
The ID – Individual Path studies workshops are a meeting place for those curious about the world, open to dialogue between fields, and ready to transcend the boundaries of traditional divisions into fields and specializations. The attached materials are a collection of abstracts from presentations by students and tutors representing various faculties and areas of study – from mathematics, computer science, and engineering, through chemistry and materials science, to architecture and geodesy.
The idea of the workshops was to demonstrate that an individual path of academic and research development can – and should – be built at the intersection of perspectives, methods, and languages of various disciplines. The presentation topics demonstrate how mathematical tools support the analysis of market and biological phenomena, how artificial intelligence algorithms transform environmental monitoring and urban design, and how modern materials, chemical, and engineering technologies address the challenges of medicine, energy, and industry.
