Professor Adam Kowalczyk is a principal researcher within the National Information and Communications Technology Research Centre Australia, which he has joint in 2004.
Professor Kowalczyk‘s research interests concern mathematics physics, artificial intelligence and bioinformatics. He also leads a projects in molecular medicine and biology.
He studied at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he graduated the Ph. D. degree in mathematical science in 1978. In 1984 he emigrated to Australia, where he worked for Telstra Research Laboratories to 2003 and Peter Mac Callum Cancer Centre from 2003 to 2004.
Professor Kowalczyk is the author/co-author over 90 articles published in scientific journals, 12 of patents and a many research projects.
Professor Kowalczyk will visit the Warsaw University of Technology in September / October 2013 and May 2014. The guest will be hosted by Prof. Stanisław Janeczko.
