Professor Waldemar W. Koczkodaj is a renowned, world-famous scientist specializing in the system of Computer Support for Evidence-Based medicine.
He graduated from Warsaw University of Technology in 1975; completed doctoral studies in Computer Science on fuzzy sets at Polish Academy of Sciences.
From 1985 onwards he has been working at Laurentian University in Canada. Professor Koczkodaj organized and actively participated in many international conferences. He collaborates with numerous research centers, in Canada, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, within evidence-based medicine and computer-support decisions. In Poland, professor developed co-operation with professor A. Przelaskowski (Warsaw University of Technology) and with professor B. Ciszek and associate professor K. Szopiński (Medical University of Warsaw). He is an author of many publications and a member in numerous research committee (more info at: www.cs.laurentian.ca/koczkodaj/info.html).
Professor Koczkodaj will visit Warsaw University of Technology from December 2010 to January 2011 and will be hosted by Professors: Stanisław Janeczko and Artur Przelaskowski.
