Professor Branko Kolarevic ā€“ appreciated architect, Harvard graduate; currently affiliated with the Faculty of Environmental Design, University of Calgary, Canada.
He is Chair of Integrated Design and a Co-director of the Laboratory for Integrative Design (LID). Prior to his appointment in Calgary, he taught architecture at several universities in North America and Asia, including University of Pennsylvania and University of Hong Kong. Prof. Kolarevic is the author/editor/co-editor of several books, including "Building Dynamics" (with Vera Parlac), "Manufacturing Material Effects" (with Kevin Klinger), "Performative Architecture" (with Ali Malkawi) and "Architecture in the Digital Age". He is a former President of the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) and Association for Computer-Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA).
Prof. Kolarevic will visit Warsaw University of Technology in March 2015. His stay will be coordinated by Prof. Stefan Wrona and Prof. Stanisław Janeczko.
