Professor Maxim Kazaryan - distinguished mathematician; affiliated with the V.A. Steklov Institute of Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences and Higher School of Economics (Russia).
Prof. Kazaryan’s scientific interests concern geometry, topology, singularity theory and characteristic classes. He is the author/co-author of numerous scientific publications as well as many mathematical programs for computing characteristic classes of multisingularities: Residue classes for Legendre and IH multisingularities, Adjacency exponents and Thom polynomials for local Legendre and IH singularities, Application of Legendre multisingularity theory to projective enumerative geometry.
Prof. Kazaryan will be a guest at Warsaw University of Technology in January 2015. His visit will be coordinated by Prof. Wojciech Domitrz and Prof. Stanisław Janeczko.
