Professor Victor Goryunov

Visit at WUT: January – March 2015

Professor Victor Goryunov – renowned mathematician, specialist in the theory of singularity; since 2009 academic at the Department of Mathematical Science, University of Liverpool, UK.

Prof. Goryunov is the author/co-author of two books: Dynamical Systems VI: Singularity Theory I, Local and global theory (Springer), and Dynamical Systems VIII: Singularity Theory II, Classification and Applications (Springer) and of more than 50 articles published in prestigious scientific journals. He is a member of the London Mathematical Society and the editor in: Journal of Singularities, Functional Analysis and Other Mathematics, Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Journal of the London Mathematical Society.

Professor Goryunov’s visit will take place in the period: January-March 2015. His visit will be coordinated by Prof. Domitrz and Prof. Stanisław Janeczko.
