Sir Michael Berry (born March 14, 1941 in Surrey) - British theoretical physicist, winner of prestigious awards like the Lorentz Medal, Royal Medal and Wolf Prize in Physics. He collaborated with Andrei Gay, later a Nobel Prize winner. He works on issues at the intersection of classical physics, quantum mechanics and optics. Discoverer of the Berry phase.
