Inauguration of CAS Association - SINGULARIS, 2.06.2022

The inauguration of the CAS Association - SINGULARIS  took place on 02.06.2022 at the headquarters of the Center for Advanced Studies.

The aim of the association is to integrate people connected with science and art, open to crossing the barriers of reality and breaking out of the usual patterns.

One of the methods of action will be to organize groups of mutual inspiration, implementation teams and cognitive laboratories. As well as the inclusion of young adepts of conceptual understanding of the world in close integration.

The qualities of the members of the association are : open mind, creativity, creative independence, breaking taboos, unconventional vision of the world.

The inauguration was enhanced by the opening of an exhibition of graphics by Anna Salva, a young artist - a doctoral student at the Warsaw University of Technology, a participant of lectures within the teaching offer of the CAS, whose active involvement resulted in the creation of a series of graphics, inspired by the issues raised during the classes with Prof. Stanislaw Janeczko "Illusions of knowledge and the limits of cognition".

The series is called "SPACE OF ILLUSIONS".

Our world consists of the sensory world and layers/levels of worlds that appear as illusory. Thereby the "spaces of illusion", ", which are real in inverse to the abstraction of the sensory world.

Through her drawings, the artist invites viewers to wander through the many levels of the extra-sensory world. To dwell in and explore these worlds is the privilege of open minds, hence the idea of combining the inauguration of "SINGULARIS" and the vernissage.
