Professor Tomasz Wielicki is a specialist in business management at the Craig School of Business, California State University (USA) and Vice-President of the Central California Chapter at the Project Management Institute (PMI).
He has served as Chair of the Department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences at California State University (USA) and Director of the Digital Economy Center at CSUF. In the period from 1993 to 1996, Prof. Wielicki was Director of the Polish Business Education Project funded by the US State Department, thanks to which the first private school of business in Poland – Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu-National Louis University in Nowy Sącz was established.
Prof. Wielicki’s teaching experience includes a variety of business courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels and includes MIS, project management, business statistics, Decision Support Systems, TQM, business process reengineering, entrepreneurship as well as curriculum design under AACSB accreditation requirements.
He has been invited as a visiting professor and expert in project management and information technology to the number of universities around the world, including: Heilderberg University (Germany), The University of New South Wales (Australia), Universidad de las Américas (Mexico) and Warsaw School of Economics (Poland).
Professor Wielicki’s visit at Warsaw University of Technology will take place in November and December 2014. The guest will be hosted by Prof. Wiesław Kotarba and Prof. Stanisław Janeczko.
