Professor Mirosław Truszczyński

Professor Mirosław Truszczyński is a renowned computer scientist conducting research  within the artificial intelligence theory.

Professor Truszczyński received PhD degree at Warsaw University of Technology in 1980; in 1984 joined the University of Kentucky (Department of Computer Science), where he was promoted to the rank of professor in 1991. Truszczyński’s area of interests ranges from information science to mathematics. He is an author or a co-author of over 150  scientific papers.

As a part of his visit at Warsaw University of Technology in May, 2011, professor will deliver a lecture on logic programming, and will be hosted by Professors: Zbigniew Lonc and Stanisław Janeczko.
