Professor Timberbaev’s main areas of interest are analytical chemistry, coordination chemistry, chromatography and other separation-related techniques, methodological aspects of capillary electrophoresis and its application in the inorganic trace analysis, environmental quality control and its biological analysis. .
Professor Timerbaev graduated from Moscow State University. He obtained his PhD and D.Sc. at Mendeleev Univeristy of Chemical Technology (Doctor of Chemistry, 1991) and University of Vienna (Doctor of Natural Sciences, D.Sc., 1995), respectively. Professor Timerbaev is a memeber of a drafting committee for an international journal Electrophoresis. He is an author or co-author of about 100 books and over 130 articles.
Professor A. Timerbaev will visit Warsaw University of Technology from October to December 2009.
He will be hosted by Professor Maciej Jarosz and Professor Stanisław Janeczko.
