Professor Shuichi Izumiya
Professor Shuichi Izumiya – eminent specialist in geometry and singularity theory, since 1971 employed at the Faculty of Mathematics, Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan.
He is the author of 2 books and over 100 articles published in international journals. He was a visiting fellow at: Chinese Academy of Science, Liverpool University, Carnegie Mellon University, Banach International Mathematical Centre, Valencia University, Durham University. Professor Izumiya is a member of numerous scientific associations: Mathematical Society of Japan, American Mathematical Society, London Mathematical Society and Mathematical Association of America.
Professor Shuichi Izumiya will be a guest of Warsaw University of Technology in August 2013 and February 2014.
He will be hosted by Professor Stanisław Janeczko, Professor Zbigniew Lonc and Professor Wojciech Domitrz.
