Professor Sabu Thomas

Professor Sabu Thomas – specialist in polymer science and engineering, Director of School of Chemical Sciences and Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University, India, a fellow of the Royal Society in London.
He is the author of more than 500 publications on polymer composites, polymer blends, nanocomposites, polymer separation and recycling; the author of 3 patents and 16 books (both as an author or an editor). He has got 10,000 citations. Professor Thomas is listed in the Panel of Most Productive Researchers in India (5th position) by the National Institute of Science, Technology and Development, New Delhi. In 2007 Professor Thomas got Sukumar Maithy National Award for Best Polymer Researcher.
Professor Sabu Thomas will visit the Warsaw University of Technology from May to June 2014 and as a part of the scholarship he will deliver a few lectures on polymers according to the present state of the art. Professor Thomas will be hosted by Ph.D. Eng. Joanna Izdebska and Professor Stanisław Janeczko.
