Professor Joaquim Júdice

Visit at WUT: June 2014

Professor Joaquim Júdice – renowned specialist in control engineering, currently affiliated with Instituto de Telecomunicações, Polo de Coimbra (Portugal). 

Prof. Júdice focuses on  complementarity problems, global optimization, algorithms for mathematical programming problems and applications of optimization in telecommunications and civil engineering.

He is the author of numerous scientific publications, including books, chapters, and articles. He is a member of many associations, for example: Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, American Mathematical Society or Mathematical Programming Society.

Professor Júdice will be a guest of Warsaw University of Technology in June 2014. He will be hosted by Prof. Bronisław Jakubczyk i Prof. Stanisława Janeczko.
